Summary:
BCS, Incorporated seeks a part time Intern to assist BCS in its support of renewable energy and energy efficiency research programs. Research topics will include renewable energy, energy and/or national security policy. Candidates must organized, detail oriented, capable of providing quick turn-around support, and have good writing, data collection and presentation skills. Candidate must be professional and have strong research skills. This position will provide candidates good exposure to operations of Federal research programs and exposure to advanced energy technologies.

Position Description:
BCS is a small business providing dynamic business, analytical, and communications solutions to decision makers in the clean energy, health and national security fields. The Intern will be responsible for providing direct support to BCS staff. Tasks will include administrative support such as photo copying, file management and other administrative tasks. Tasks will also include collecting market data and information on energy industry news and trends; assisting in meeting preparation, and ad hoc research and organizational support as needed. The successful candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills, and be articulate in written and oral communication. Candidates must have strong capabilities in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. In addition, candidate must be able to work effectively independently as well as part of a team. Hours are flexible between 8:00am – 6:00pm.
